My advice--replace the keyboard on any older iMac. Those things are
terrible, not as bad as the hockey puck mouse, but still pretty darn bad.

As for PowerBook keyboards, the 5xx, 5300, 3400 and Kanga all used pretty
much the same design (the 5xx was a little different, but functionally the
same); if you dislike one, you will dislike them all. The 1400, for whatever
reason, had a better keyboard. I have no idea about the 2400, having never
used one.

I'd take any of them over an older iMac keyboard, though. Those things made
me want to scream.
