IMHO the best keyboard was (is for those still on non USB Macs) the one that
shipped with the Classic/LC. Especially for those with big fingers. That
keyboard had the biggest keys size and distance between keys, while the
absence of numeric keypad is not an issue for those looking for typing speed
(i.e. word processing).

The Apple Extended Keyboard II had the numeric keypad but the dimension and
the shape of the keys were less ergonomic.

The Apple Adjustable Keyboard, quite rare, was a good one, but still the
keys were smaller than on the basic keyboard that shipped with the Classic
and LC in 1991.
