Thank you very much for the information. Yes, I hear the floppy spinning during start up but it ejects the disk as soon as it realize it is on the drive. I don't see any icon with an X during the process. Some Linux distributions say that they have the necessary drivers. I'll give it a try. LetÅ› see what happens. Thank you again, Pedro
