THERE IS NO INTERNAL CD-ROM DRIVE FOR THE 5300! There ARE internal Zip drives that work on the 5300, and there are external Zip drives and CD-ROM drives that can be hooked up via SCSI.

Don't bother with a Zip drive. It won't provide nearly enough space for anything this original poster wants to do.
