If you're returning to OS 9 totally, this is what I'd do in your position. You will need: OS 9 bootable install CD. 1. Back up ALL of your data and applications, unless you already have updated backups. 2. Boot with the CD and use Drive Setup to reformat your hard drive. 3. Install OS 9. 4. Reboot your Mac with the "new" OS 9 hard drive as the Startup Disk. 5. Restore your data to the hard drive from the backups.
