Pre -G3~post-040, hmmm. That would be a 603, 604, 604e, right?
I have a PCP 210 with the orig. 604e chip. It was used with 8.6 for a
year with no problems. It is now running OS9.1 with no problems ... yet.
I talked with an engineer at "Black & Bleu" and he stated, "They had
found 7.6 and 8.5 or 8.6 to be very stable. They found 9.0 to be more
crash prone than any OS since 6.0. I finally got OS 9.1 stable after
upgrading all my other S/W. RHB
