I am running OS 9.1 on both HFS and HFS+ formatted HD's on my PTP250. Later versions of FWB will do either HFS or HFS+. I have FWB HD Toolkit version 4.5. Be sure to uncheck Apple HD checkmark, unless you have an Apple HD, when installing OS 9.1. Mac OS 9.1 has worked well for me. Bob
