Hi group-
         I have a PowerBase 180 and PowerCenter 132 minitowers. I bought
both on the used market. Both work fine with the exception of the CD drives.
Neither drive works. The drives are found in the Apple profiler. The door
opens when the button is pressed. If I insert a CD, the ready light will
blink but nothing appears on the desktop. CD ROM Toolkit appears to be the
driver, but I've tried the Apple driver with no luck.
Is there some trick to getting the CD drives to work?

System 8.6 on both machines.
Thanks for any feedback
Ron
