That's a good question. Presumably holding down the "C" key doesn't work. If PowerComputing machines always came with a boot floppy, it would also imply there was a copy of the FWB CD driver present on the floppy to get to the CDROM. In any event, make a boot floppy just like that w/ your other Mac. If the 7.5.5 CD has a "make a Disk Tools floppy" use that. Or try Apple's "Universal Network System' floppy download or whatever it's called--essentially a 7.5 System Folder that fits on a floppy. If you use that, or a "Disk Tools" -type floppy, you'll probably have to delete some unneeded (for your situation) Extensions and Control Panels or other items from the floppy to make some room for the FWB Ext and CP. Cheap spare external SCSI drives also come in handy for the same reason. -David -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
