Yes, this issue of finding fans with proper choices of connectors for a PowerTowerPro has been mentioned: http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing@;mail.maclaunch.com/msg01487.html As mentioned in the post, the vendor (with which I have never done business) is: http://www.pcpowerandcooling.com/products/alarmandaccesories/silencerfan/ind ex.htm If someone follows through with this, I would be obliged to learn whether this vendor's are: 1. Indeed quieter. 2. Whether the connectors for a PowerTowerPro are the same for a PowerTower 180e (non-Pro). 3. Which choice of connectors (described by vendor as "4-pin drive or 3-pin M/B") is appropriate. I reckon I could figure out the last two questions myself, if I were willing to subject my good ol' PowerTower to dismantling for the umpteenth time. It isn't hard; just takes a lot of disconnecting of cables. :-) -- Chuck -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:powercomputing@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:powercomputing-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:powercomputing-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lemlists.com> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
