Yes, this issue of finding fans with proper choices of connectors for a
PowerTowerPro has been mentioned:

If someone follows through with this, I would be obliged to learn whether
this vendor's are:

1. Indeed quieter.

2. Whether the connectors for a PowerTowerPro are the same for a PowerTower
180e (non-Pro).

3. Which choice of connectors (described by vendor as "4-pin drive or 3-pin
M/B") is appropriate.

I reckon I could figure out the last two questions myself, if I were willing
to subject my good ol' PowerTower to dismantling for the umpteenth time. It
isn't hard; just takes a lot of disconnecting of cables. :-)
