Have just installed a newer, larger hard drive into my PowerBase 180. I
would like to keep the older smaller drive as well. I have installed the
proper cabeling and everything works fine except for the fact that no
matter what I do, I can not get both drives to be recognized by the
computer at the same time. If one has the jumper set to master and the
other to slave, the machine boots up off of the master drive but will not
acknowledge that the other drive exists, and visa versa. I know that when
I did this with my wife's machine, a PC, shudder!!!, I had to get into the
BIOS setup to tell the machine to recognize the other drive. This, of
course is not usual with a Mac as usually all of this happens
automatically. What needs to be done to make this work?
