If you are using the original IDE cable in your PB, I believe it only supports a single drive. To install a 2nd drive you will need to install an ATA card in a PCI slot. This will give you the bonus of allowing you to take advantage of the faster speeds of newer drives. The original cable will drastically slow them down. -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:powercomputing@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:powercomputing-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:powercomputing-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lemlists.com> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
