Dear List:

I have recently acquired a PB180 with a PowerLogix G3/233 upgrade board. It
has OS 9.1 installed and from what I can tell the correct PowerLogix G3
Driver.

It has a 2 GB HD; CD-ROM drive; zip 100, non-working Jazz drive (do I need
to keep this in for scsi termination?); ethernet, video and usb cards in the
PCI slots.

The first few times I started it up I was able to get to the desktop and
even launch internet explorer, but as soon as I tried to down load anything,
the machine would crash.

Now the machine does some of the following:

1) It will boot up to the desktop, but opening any folder will cause it to
freeze.

2) It will get to the desktop, but if I try to open the extensions manager
it will freeze.

3) Sometimes it doesn't get past the initial boot and freezes on a blank
generic blue screen ( without showing the drive or any files -- just the
blue embossed OS logo.

I have tried booting from a CD, but holding down the "C" key during startup
doesn't seem to have any effect.

Any and all suggestions are welcome as I am completely lost here.

Thanks,
Spencer
