RH67, Please elucidate - Re: Your RAM problems. What DIMMs are you using? What OS? What
I had a similar problem until I bit the bullet and bought 8 128MB DIMMs ... all of the same brand, speed, and astrological sign. They show up as 1 GB on Apple System profiler, Tech Tool and other diognostic S/W. ... and it is faster than any three year old Mac I've ever messed with ??? Some folks are saying ,"It may show 1 GB but it's really only using 512 GB." Seems, like to me, from the way and speed, it handles things ... it's 1GB. Like the man that was told, "Drinking that Whisky may make you feel warmer; But it's actually lowering your body temperature." His reply, After another swig, "Dammit if I feel warmer, and my head thinks I'm warmer ... the whiskey must be working."
