My daughter is upset. She is an MSN junkie and uses my old Power Computing 180 with a Sonnet Crescendo G3 upgrade in the L2 piggyback slot.
When she tries to log into MSN now, it insists that she upgrades MSN to v 2.5. We downloaded it, but it requires Mac OS 9.2.2. I've tried to upgrade this machine with a 9.2 CD ROM but it says that it can't install on this Machine. Documentation says it will install on any "Mac OS X compatible machine". I guess the PowerBase 180 doesn't qualify.
I am tempted to just drag over the new system, finder, extensions and control panels to see it that will work.
Whaddaya think... or does anyone have a patch or go around?
Desperate... with a whining 13 year old daughter...
