Weeeelll... I dragged the System folder from my Pismo's (Powerbook) backup CD to our PowerWave. It has 9.0.4 on it. So, this trick may work with your computer. However, I hope you have a lot more ram than 96 megabytes. I tried 9.2 with only 128 or so, and it was torture. You will want at least double that to feel comfortable with 9.2.
