Right.

After acquiring a new 'puter, in this case a pair of PTP 225s, I 
reinitialized the hard drives with Drive Setup, patching that program as 
required to accept the installed drive.

No problems with 9.0 or 9.1 on these machines.

Oh, I always specify low-level formatting *and* write zeros, in order to 
ensure a completely clean disk.
