Hi Jim,

That "file" you sent is showing as two files with the same name in my
Outlook Express, running Win98SE. In order to save I had to rename.
Identical file names are not allowed in Windows. I'm assuming this is a
"fork" issue? When I put them on the Mac will I be able to put the name back
and have it recognized as a Mac file? I used to have a utility on my WFW
3.11 machine that read and wrote to mac files. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I do see now that I have to replace the daughtercard to upgrade. There are
two types of cards. One has the processor built in, the other has a ZIF plug
that accepts a processor. Not sure if the same ZIF carrier cards support G3
and G4 at the same time. Do I need a specific carrier card for G4 processors
or, if I get a carrier card with a G3 can I later upgrade to a G4?

I saw a copy of OS 9 on xlr8yourmac.com for about $39. I saw one on eBay for
about $49. Do you think that will be the going price? I think I would rather
buy from a place like xlr8yourmac than on eBay.

Thanks,
Sean
