You've hit the jackpot as far as PowerComputing Computers are concerned.

The PowerTowerPro 225 was top-of-the-line Mac when first introduced. Based on
the Mac 9650 'Tsunami' architecture, it cost $4995 in the configuration you
found. With the limited RAM in there right now, OS 7.6 is probably best until
you've loaded up a bit more. It's very reasonable right now, and pretty well
any RAM dimms from a Mac 7300-7500-7600-8500-9500-8600-9600 will work.

Any Mac OS up to & including OS10.2 will run in the old girl, but OS 8.6 or 9.1
are best suited.

One thing to bear in mind when using the PTP, or and PowerComputing unit, is
that the CDROM, and in many cases the Hard Drive will require third party
drivers, and they do not have Apple ROM built in as do native Macs. The setup
disks which came with the units new had FWB CDROM Toolkit and HD Toolkit
included, but are pretty rare these days. The are two solutions, software &
hardware.
The software solution requires either obtaining a copy of the toolkits, hacking
Mac OS drivers or finding a copy of Mac OS 7.6 (the drivers for this system
seem to work with many more strains of CDROMs)
The hardware solution is to install a CDROM and hard drive from later model
Macs which have a SCSI interface . These are readily available and cheap either
in used computer/consignment shops, on eBay, and through LEM sponsors. The PTP
will easily accept a second CDR as well, plus a ZIP drive if required.

I use one daily with an XLR8 G4/375 mounted on a ZIF card and running MacOS
8.6. The PowerTowerPro is an excellent machine...the best of the Mac clone era.

Cheers...Michael
