Not so fast!

The PTP takes a "low profile" CPU card which is otherwise compatible in 
every respect to a standard profile CPU card.

Since most third-party G3 and G4 cards, and also the third-party ZIF 
cards which, in turn, take a standard processor/cache chip, are adaptable 
to "low profile" by removing a spacer, you will have little problem in 
upgrading your PTP.

I run a ZIF card into which has been installed a hand-me-down 333 MHz G3 
from a Beige, and I am overclocking it to 350 MHz with no problems.
