If someone knows of a single driver that will work with both the original CD player and the Ricoh player/burner I'd love to get pointed toward it. Or, maybe there are two drivers that won't conflict with each other that will work.
I use a Teac 516s CDROM and a Matshita 4xCDRW in my PTP G4/375 running OS 8.6. FWB CD-ROM toolkit 3.0.2 runs the Teac alongside Toast CD reader 3.5.4.
I get sound.
Have you checked the control panel to ensure that the 'internal CD' is selected as input device in the sound control panel?
Cheers...Michael
