You could also look for an external USB or Firewire drive enclosure that has a 
power supply in it, that takes the SCSI drive. Harder to find, but not 
impossible.

connect the old drive to the new mac.  You will, however need a power 
source for the drive.  If you have an old PC powersupply with an 
on/off switch, that would do.
