Liam,
Okay, so when you put the old (original) CPU card back in, all works
fine? May be a couple of things to try. Remove all memory except
the largest single dimm. Make sure all cards/risers are seated
properly. insert new cpu card (all the way down, push firmly) and
make sure to reset the CUDA switch (some say to hold it for 30
seconds, personally I just push it quickly). See what happens...
Greg
Hi Greg,
Sorry for the lack of info. in the last message.
Everything seems to work except the monitor. Without
the monitor, I can't tell how far along the OS gets or
if there are other problems.
As for the keyboard, chimes, speaker,..etc.,
everything seems to work fine. I can reboot with the
keyboard, but no monitor. I had to default to the old
card just to see the System Menu and check the status
of all the files.
But I appreciate your help and efforts. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Liam
