Sonnet lists all the PCI Power Computing clones as compatible. Actually, there is a fairly rare Power Tower Pro motherboard revision which does not work with Sonnet's G4 upgrades. The model number on the board is PCC 5000-141-01, and is most commonly found in the PTP 250 systems. The PTP boards underwent some redesign near the end of the clone era in preparation for shipping with G3s(though full G3 systems never made it out before Apple axed the whole clone program). Note that Sonnet is the only one who seems to have issues with this. XLR8 solved the problem in an early revision of their Carrier years ago, and I believe Powerlogix did as well. Sonnet was/is just too lazy to fix the problem.

BTW, I'm told the G4 board only works with PowerTower Pros ... and Check your Motherboard part number against Sonnets Motherboard list.
