EDO RAM may work on your computer; HOWEVER...................
Never MIX EDO and FPM RAM on the same computer (regardless what anybody
says!)
It may not damage the computer, but I have hours of lost files and
corrupted
applications to prove that fact.

Subject: Correct RAM for powerwave 604/132
Sorry if this is redundant to many of you. I do not do a lot computer
improvements.
I wanted to add new RAM to a powerwave 604/132 and have gotten confused
about type to get as well as which brand/company might be recomended.
I know it takes 168 pin dimm FPM but can it also take FPM with EDO
together?
I see such RAM with powerwave listed such as:
http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Item.cfm?ID=6454&Item=OWC5MD128MBE2
But then I read somewhere else that EDO RAM is bad for powercomputing
computers and damages them.
Next I found a list of sources, which brand is recomended?
I know it's said don't buy cheap RAM because it will be bad quality
but how
does one tell cheap bad quality RAM from RAM that is merely on
discount or
special sale?.
Here's a list I found:
http://www.ramprice.com/scripts/modelDetails.php
I've found many people recomending crucial RAM but they don't seem to
sell
any RAM for older mac systems.
