I looked at the MacSales website and the "regular" FPM memory price is not
that much different from the EDO RAM. Check out EveryMac.com for additional
info on your configuration

Subject: Re: Correct RAM for powerwave 604/132

You've all been a great help.I guess my next step is check what kind of RAM
I have to match it , how much I want to buy and what brand.

This place seems to have a special sale on 168 pin DIMM RAM but it's the EDO
kind:
http://www.ramdirect.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=1_11_72

If it's a good brand, I might just replace all eight, otherwise I think I'll
get four from otherworldcomputing. I wouldn't try to save money if it means
the wrong kind of RAM but a special sale is nice.

I have 144 RAM in smaller sticks installed leaving one slot empty.
I wished I had checked on this whole matter earlier as my thought was RAM
for this computer was no longer sold. Actually I've found I can lots more I
didn't know about that can be done with it.

I found this infomation not with intentions to upgrade my powerwave but
looking for a good price on a original airport card (yeah good luck right?).

To further complicate things, I plan to reuse the RAM on another computer at
my parents house, a powermac 8500/120 which is running with 80 RAM.

I imagine it has all sorts of empty slots so rather then just have my unused
sticks laying around and after I found out both computers seem to use the
same RAM, I figured I'd put them to good use.

It would be neat if both computers used the same processors too then I could
get mine a better one and put the existing G3 one in the powermac, therefore
upgrading two computers.

My plans with my powerwave are either to use it for my OS 9 programs or use
it as a MU* server.
