I think most of us are asking simple as applying the top most entry's
assigned sig if multiple recipients has assigned sig conflicts.

Since PM already treats sig as an argument, i.e., selecting sig from the
bottom right popup list will replace the already entered sig, attaching
the sig object to addrbook might not be that unreasonable.  Avoiding
conflict by taking the top most addr entry might be more difficult part
because this will cause user to want to have a feature that you can
reorder the recipient addr list.
