Well, I shouldn't have implied this was always so. But under the circumstances I persdonally was in and some other individuals, with schedule settings and specific accounts and so on, if some unknown connection errors occured, messages frequently (not always) just sat there until I selected them all in the list, set them to draft with the popup and back. I assume PM thought there still was a connection though nothing were visible in the process window and that the mode change reset this wait state.
