What if it were late at night and I were out of gasolene, had no cash and only a CapitolOne card? What if there were a long line behind me at the supermarket and this had happened -- how embarrassing! There are many situations where there could be serious problems because a credit card could no longer be used and all because of a US$30! In July, my wife and I will be in Europe and I'm guessing CapitolOne may stop my credit after some small transaction over there. It certainly pays to have more than one credit card.
