In 5.0b12, old messages are not converted, so their attachments are still
located by name, in the attachment folder.
In the final version, old messages will be converted and will use an
alias (if the file is found in the attachment folder during the
conversion of course).
Additionally, compacting the database or verifying its consistency will
now also update all the attachment aliases. If you plan to move your
database and attachments to a different machine, disk or volume (or plan
to backup it), you should do this before, to make sure that all
attachments that have been renamed or moved will be automatically found
on the other machine/drive, or when you restore your database from the backup.
