Unfortunately, this is a standard limitation of the Macintosh alias
mechanism, and is not a shortcoming of PowerMail per se.  Once you move a
file to a different disk, there's really no way for an application to
keep track of it, since doing the operation amounts to a copy followed by
a delete.
