What newer better package? What if PM 4.1.3 isn't it? What if the $29 to upgrade doesn't solve my problems? You think CTM will give me the money back then? And why do you think newer is always better? Software history is full of examples on the contrary. Problems with an application are necessarily not the same as bugs and may not be solved by upgrading. It's nice to know if you upgrade that the most serious problems will be solved, which is why I'm trying to gather real data about that. However, at the moment the data isn't looking as I'd like. >Constant problems all the time >(based on his many postings here), many of which the folks over at CTM >have already spent hundreds (?) of hours of their time to correct and improve. As I asked earlier on list whether PM 3.1.3 would work in OS X 10.2.x and the responses was positive, both from CTM and others. So decided to try it for real. That doesn't make me believe that problems I've had do not depend on that combination, but on the other hand it doesn't make me believe what you seem to, that all problems I've had depend on the PM 3.1.3/OS X combo. If you have reason to believe you know that for a fact this is so, why don't you point out to me what is the known or experienced problems arising from these? Because so far, not one person have said that to their knowledge "this known problem is because of a bug with PM 3.1.3 and can only be solved by upgrading to version 4.1.x or later". Not one. What if the case is that I'm prepared to spend more, in money or in time, for a much better package, but at the moment would like to make my feet wet first with PM 3, that I have tried to follow for 2 years and actually had some hope for? An opportunity which happened to be free for me. That is what I'm doing and I'm not spending $29 to find out the problem exists in PM 4 as well. I do have PM 4.1.3 on disk for offline behaviour investigation, but haven't gotten around to try and actually use it for mail I depend on. But fair Enough, I'll move my PM subscription to PM 4 and we'll see if that changes anything. OK? But don't hold your breath.
