This is probably so obvious as to be insulting, and if so, I apologize in advance, but did you adjust the "Max # of results" slider in the lower right-hand corner of the results window? Running the same test on my PM discussion folder, Finding by Contents lists a lower limit of 11 results, and an upper limit of 816. (D'oh!
