I'll keep my eyes on what's happening to PM when I'm performing a find. I export my messages to FileMaker Pro, although not as frequently as I once did because I tend to delete as much as possible these days to keep PowerMail lean. PM is noticeably slower to me since I upgraded recently to Tiger, so I plan to do the PM optimization and exports to FM more frequently. -- "I never before knew the full value of trees.
