It is easier to quit the app and relaunch, but that's a good idea. I'll try a restart and see if the spam button behaves. If only the <ctm request="feature">Recent Mail Window wouldn't reset between app launches</ctm>... FWIW, I had the same problem with non-hiding on my iBook G4, so the rest of you PPC users aren't off the hook. :P Chris --
