I had the problem also with 4D 2004 (the problem was gone in v11). I suspect a bug in a Carbon Lib which is rarely used, but by apps which are coming the long way from far before OS9. And I didn't observed that problem anymore with Leopard and Intel. Thanks and all the best Matthias
