So CTM Dev are responsible for you choosing an inferior backup strategy? I think not and I also find your reasnoning to not be sound in this case. There are backup apps that can backup only differences. They are not affected sizewise by the DB structure of PM. The sparsebundle strategy suggested by Peter Lovel is another way to achieve the same results on a (zero) budget. /MB
