The highest we've seen at Grand Gulf was ~8 R/hR. typically ~1 R/hR. These
rates are when it comes out of the reactor.

Subject: Powernet: BWR control `spud end' radiation levels

I hope my BWR colleagues can help me with a question.
What are the radiation levels of a typical control rod spud end and how
many days decay between removal from the reactor and the measurement?
I am a PWR type and am working on a BWR decommissioning project.
Thanks for any help
