Tom,

At Columbia our CRDM's from our R-20 outage this spring were from 13 Rem/hr to
85 Rem/hr. We replaced 20 CRDM's with an average dose rate of 39 Rem/hr.

Subject: Powernet: BWR control `spud end' radiation levels

I hope my BWR colleagues can help me with a question.
What are the radiation levels of a typical control rod spud end and how
many days decay between removal from the reactor and the measurement?
I am a PWR type and am working on a BWR decommissioning project.
Thanks for any help
Tom Meek
