At all Duke Energy sites:

Worker removes ED from plastic whirlpack and places directly on non-fabric
lanyard (same lanyard with TLD and security badge). If worker suspects ED is
contaminated, they are supposed to request assistance from RP.

Subject: Powernet: ED removal at SOP

Quick benchmark question from Columbia:

When workers exit contaminated areas at a SOP, are they trained to place the ED
on the SOP, in the hardhat, or is it clipped directly back onto the lanyard
without setting it down. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
