We have had occasions where workers place material in the monitors, and do not push the start button, or place items in the SAM during a background count. While an attentive worker can observe fault messages, it appears the messages from the SAM-11 are less distinct than those produced by the SAM-9. Some workers have passed items through SAM-11s without an actual count. Does anyone else have similar experiences? How have you responded?
