Browns Ferry uses a Surveyor M in the scaler mode with a 10 minute count for smears. Much easier to decontaminate than a scaler and the jig we had made provides the proper geometry. We use a Ludlum 2000 with a ZnS probe for air samples and can be used for low activity smears. We are evaluating the iSolo and close to implementing it. Chuck Creamer Charles E.
