I am not entirelt sure if the problem was hardware or software, but the old revision of the board had trouble with 2 x512MB and 2x1GB, while it worked fine with 1x1GB. This may have been due to poor (i.e. cheapest) quality memory sticks though. The new revision of the board fixes this issue, and it is now possible to use 2x512MB or 2x1GB without problem. > Is this stability problem true? Is this a hardware problem? So, can problems be expected with OpenSolaris? it didn't happen in morphos but only under linux, but this may have been due to morphos having some special magic workaround we don't know about, or simply not stressing the memory subsystem as much. Not sure how that translate to OpenSolaris though. Friendly, Sven Luther -- Genesi, Director of Open Source Developments
