The same here. 24/7 without problems for more than a year on HP notebook
(Centrino). To prevent overheating you have to avoid using the notebook on a
soft surface, but it's normal for notebooks even if you don't run Prime95.

I went to a department store and got a wire-frame device that you put 
cookies on to cool, after they come out of the oven. So there's almost 2 
inches of open space under the machine.
