yes, on the IBM T42 laptop provided by my employer... prime95 has been running on it for a year or three. it's usually plugged in. i only power it off during the rare times when i am transporting it in a car.
it works fine even when there is poor air circulation.

other local IBM laptops have experienced hard drive failures or other odd symptoms which may correlate with having prime95 running.

on an old toshiba/celeron laptop, i think prime95 caused its fan to experience an "early failure" - that fan was replaced under warranty and i never ran prime95 on that laptop again.

caveat laptop-owner...

Does anyone here run Prime95 all the time when their notebook is
plugged in?  Any issues other than make sure there is plenty of air
circulation?
