A.N spray will show up on a good scan. As Richard K has said drum scan will bring out the best results by using a clear acetate sheet to lay over the neg and sandwich it to the Drum. Oil will be use and Newton's rings eliminated. Its a very time consuming process in the search for perfection,and that's before even commencing scanning but when you need those 250mb scans from the little 6x6cm tranny they really do the business. type 55 polapan should be a doddle.
