As far as I remember Mouse Zoom was an early OSX mouse "haxie". Suggest you try www.versiontracker.com which is the holy grail for Mac (and Win) software. Don't know what OS you are using, but click on the relevant tab at the top of the window and then enter "whatever' in the search box - "mouse" in your case. That will bring up pretty much all the available software in that category - with very relevant user comments and ratings.
Dear Francis
Thanks for the leads, will go and see.
Thanks...a matter of what you get used to and I just happen to like to have minimum hand movements. For me a mouse set so that small movements only are needed and the Wacom for the fine control is a great combination.
Enjoy
And your fingers must be as agile as your eyes - earlier conversation :-)
Thanks to Shangara for his Wacom suggestion, but I had hoped that it would not come to that. Thanks to David for the 'metal' suggestion only I cannot find this option..grey seems to be the only sensible one amongst outlandish (well for a Photoshopper anyway) ones. Thanks to Paul Savage for the PS tip, this seems to be the only workable method for 9.1 t the moment. Thanks to Jay for the useful off list reply.
And finally thanks to Paul Bradforth. You think you will find that the mouse controls in Win2K at any rate have several useful options including a large range of reaction/speed choices. Being used to 'deft' hand movement for getting to places quickly and where fine control is not paramount and using the Wacom for the finer stuff seems to suit my way of working. I cannot say that I could endure the extremely 'low' geared speed of this Mac mouse, and just imaging swapping between the too! Now I had better look a bit more under the bonnet of this machine.
Cheers
Richard
