[PRODIG] A purchase I may regret?

So I'm almost completely decided to buy the Fuji S2. But just before I do, if anyone here present knows of any reason why I should not (eg �2000 10 mega pixel camera, or Coolpix style camera without integral lens, coming out in January), could they please say so now, or forever hold their peace.
