Pretty sure (if my memory is functioning correctly, which isn't always the case :-) I seem to remember that I couldn't connect my last two computers. And had many hours of checking set-ups, only to realise in the end that I hadn't informed them of the new NIC's. When I did, it worked fine. I maybe wrong, it has been known (very rarely, might I add :-) Also even if it isn't necessary, it shouldn't hurt, and will also allow direct connection with the modem, if the Airport should malfunction at all.
