But remember, a RAW file is about a third the size of the Tiff. If you want to shoot straight Tiff's you're going to be running out of card space pretty quickly. (Obviously depends on size of card, what you need to shoot etc.) Also the write time to the card is going to be much longer and the buffer space smaller.
